Most of the time we define who we are by the opinions, beliefs and decisions of others. This definition is shaped before we are born, its grown and nurtured by our parents & other family members, our teachers, friends, television, social media, our haters, our lovers, our children, even our dog. We often have a different personality we present in different situations. This is definitely us being deceitful, being untruthful. We seem to rarely want to be honest about WHO we truly are.
We don't always know who we are - we spend our lives being what we think we have to be to satisfy what we think other people want. I say "we think" because the truth is that what people really want is for you to be honestly YOU. Don't they? We spend the best part of our lives trying to "find ourselves" in other people, in our jobs, in our religion, in our sport, in our families - we try to find ourselves in everything other than where we will genuinely find ourselves - INSIDE US. This is where you really reside. This is where your soul speaks to you ... Who I am and who you are is not much different ...
